Georgy is sleeping now. WOW... That is all I can say. I see how we have WAY TOO MUCH through his eyes. He walked in the back door and there were little shoes scattered on the floor. He looked at me with his big eyes, and you could totally read his thoughts: "You have that many kids???" He has ONE pair of shoes... He came with one very small duffel bag. WE HAVE SO MUCH COMPARED TO THE REST OF THE WORLD!!!!!

You might be asking yourself, "What is, 'HANDS THAT HEAL'? The purpose of this ministry is to seek medical attention for the people of Haiti, who are suffering needlessly. We will find host families, doctors & hospitals that will agree to give of their time & services to take care of, preform surgery on, & see to the needs of the people of Haiti that so desperately need it. It is absolutely free of charge for the patients and their families during the entire time they are in the US, in hopes that they can return to Haiti & live a full life.

Yeah!! I wish I was there to meet him! I sent a big box to him today priority mail so it will be there Saturday. Its out a day late but I wanted to go get him a few more things. It is plenty to get him started. 5-6 pants and maybe 20 shirts. When I went to go mail it this morning there was a picture sitting on top of the box that Joseph drew with an American flag and said "Welcome to America". I was so touched that he did that! Anyway, don't mean to write a blog on your blog :) I am in contact with a local Haitian org looking for a translator if he comes here. Let me know if/when I should stop looking. -Sherry
